Key Points from the 2024 Government Land Sales Updates
Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme
New land parcels launched under the second half of 2024 GLS to maintain a steady housing supply as demand rises.
Confirmed Sites
Lentor Gardens : potentially 500 units added.. This is the 7th land plot in the Lentor cluster.
River Valley Green Parcel B : potentially 475 units added.
Both sites contribute to the 5,050 units released via the Confirmed List of the 2H2024 GLS programme.
The tenders for the River Valley Green (Parcel B) and Lentor Gardens sites will close at 12 noon on 7 February 2025 and 3 April 2025 respectively.
Reserve List Sites
Marina Gardens Lane: potentially yield 390 residential units
Woodlands Drive 17: Potentially yield 420 EC units. High chance of triggering a bid, with developers expected to bid between $650 to $700 per square foot per plot ratio.
Market Dynamics
GLS aims to keep the property market moving by ensuring a steady supply of housing options for buyers, including private condos and Executive Condominiums (ECs).
Project Timeline
- Buyers should note that projects will be ready approximately 1 to 1.5 years after developers secure the land.
